For Rachel

The installation was part of the group exhibition "Rachel", Düsseldorf 2006 and came into being thanks to an old family archive, abandoned
in a garden shed. The technic of scanning could capture another moment in the process of deterioration. The pictures themselves must have been
taken in the 50s. Then with the deterioration came other time-layers such as moss and fungus growing between the glasses of the slides.
